Venting fast
Dec. 9th, 2007 09:51 pmI am on a venting fast. I am not going to vent for a week, and see what happens.
Giftmas shopping has been completed for the boys and Geoff. I am waiting for one more package to arrive for Geoff, and it should be here tomorrow. I got my Christmas bonus from work, and that was a very nice gift. It makes me feel all loved.
Work is going better, and I think I have learned a good lesson - I can't be friends with everyone. And that is okay.
I am tired, and slightly run-down. I have my last world music class tomorrow night, and I will then be done with the semester. And that will make me happy.
I am not sure at this point if I will be able to make it to Winter Solstice or not. My mom had the boys this weekend, and she will have them on the 19th, and I cannot ask her to look after them next weekend also. I am not sure what do to. I do want to go to this event, but I feel like I am burning the candle at both ends with school and work and home. The boys go to boy scouts Monday night, and David goes to Sylvan Learning Center Tuesday and Thursday. We have not decorated the Christmas tree yet. We cleaned out the boys toys this weekend in preparation for the Giftmas haul.
I think I am going to relax now...
