I started Monday at a Large Bank working in the credit/risk management department.
It's not exactly what I wanted to do
when I grew up er, finished my Masters degree, but I am liking it so far. I am also still teaching on the side, which is good too.
The only downside right now is that my rheumatoid arthritis has caused my knee to swell up. The swelling is mostly gone, which is good, but there is one little place where it won't go down. Ugh.

Day 16. A song that you used to love but now hate
I loved this song when it came out. Now I cannot stand it. Too much air time?
Day 17. A song that you hear often on the radio
My favorite radio station is Rock 92 and they play a ton of Boston. A ton.
I dance to a lot of songs, but this is what came to mind first...
Day 10. A song that makes you fall asleep
I have fallen asleep to the original, but I just love this version.
Day 11. A song from your favorite band
I have a lot of favorite bands. This is my most favorite one from Michigan.
This is one of my favorite non-USA bands. I wish they would release new albums!
This reminds me of my friend Stacey from high school in Michigan. We went through a Beastie Boys Stage.
Day 06. A song that reminds you of somewhere
Growing up in Virginia Beach, we had a sailboat, and every Thursday night there was a race at the marina. I would go to a lot of these with my Dad, and he would play Huey Lewis and the News a lot.
Day 07. A song that reminds you of a certain event
I played French Horn for almost 10 years. After my Sophmore year in high school, at Floyd E. Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, where the band was the only reason people came to the football games, we moved to Ada, Michigan. I attended Lowell Senior High School, and the band there was only used as a reason to get out of P.E. So I started playing with a college, Grand Valley State University, an hour away from us, to play music that was the caliber I was used to. This was one of my favorite songs we did.
La Fiesta Mexicana, Mvt. I
La Fiesta Mexicana, Mvt. II
La Fiesta Mexicana, Mvt. III
Day 08. A song that you know all the words to
( The Rules )
So today is Day 01. Your favorite song. This is my favorite song, from when I first heard it in Amadeus, way back when. Mozart has always and will always be my favorite composer.
This is the best version I could find on YouTube:
And this is the scene from Amadeus. Just because it rocks.
I know that 2009 was pretty horrid for a lot of people, and to be honest, 2010 has been no great shakes so far. One way we might make the rest of 2010 a bit better is to spread some love around. So if you care to reply to this post I will give you a response of something I like about you.
