Busy, busy

Had to go to the Doctor this morning as it was time to get my thyroid checked again. So at least that's done with. David's birthday party is tomorrow, he's getting excited. I sent out 40 invites, and I've only heard back from about 6 people. So I hope more than that show up; we've scheduled a magician and everything... Magicians are expensive - this one wants $100 for a 45 minute show. It's a good show, but still. That's from 3:30 - 5:30 on Saturday, and then after that, my friend Jeanmaire will be having a dinner party for her birthday, so we are going to that, all four of us, in garb, and doing a Shakespearean murder-mystery dinner. It looks to be fun... But I still need to fix the lacing rings on my gown. I got some nylon washers, and when wrapped with DMC floss, they'll work. I based it on the Doni portrait. It looks pretty good. It doesn't have as quite as smooth a bodice as I would like, but oh well... Alex keeps having to fiddle with the VCR, and it's driving me crazy!!! I know he's three but...

Well, should probably get stuff done around here...

Well, the living room is vacuum, and one toilet scrubbed. Geoff and I just got done with a wonderful dinner of home cooked Chinese food, and now we are both ready to go to bed. Carolina Panthers are currently losing the game, nothing new there...
